Albion Falls in early spring

Good Friday. On this gorgeous spring afternoon that feels more like summer, we drove to Albion Falls in Hamilton, a short 20-min. drive from our place. Wearing my new Chrome sneakers ;) , we descended down the gorge. Navigating the steep trail down to the foot of the falls with our photo gear was a bit tricky. There are no steps and some parts were muddy and slippery. Below are some of my favourite shots. They look a lot better when viewed in a larger format.

A group of friends hang at the edge of the falls. View from midway down the gorge Here's a wide-angle shot. This is why I wanted to come capture smooth, silky rushing water. Rushing water is mesmerizing to watch. I can stay here for hours!
