Together with some friends, we have decided to do a monthly Couples’ Nite Out this year. So earlier this month, we had dinner at The Boiler House in the Distillery District. We loved everything about the place – the ambiance, the architecture, the food and the live music. The service was excellent and we didn’t feel like we were being rushed out of our seats. In fact, they let us stay on to enjoy the music even after we settled our bill. The ‘industrial chic’ interior is stunningly beautiful – the ceiling must be at least 22 ft. high with wooden beams, exposed brick walls, wine racks that soar to the ceiling, heavy timer tables & intimate booths, cast iron teapots…I regretted not taking my camera that evening. This upscale restaurant is one of Toronto’s finest. We’ve already agreed to be back for Mother’s Day brunch, with all the kids, of course!
